There is No Yahoo! Site Explorer Anymore! Yahoo! Site Explorer is no longer active and begins to switch to Bing Webmaster Tools. If you usually use Yahoo! Site Explorer to monitor your blog’s link popularity, now you can’t. Yahoo! Site Explorer has joined with Bing Webmaster Tools. Apparently long-planned merger of Yahoo! Site Explorer with Bing Webmaster Tools and I have late to know this may be because I was too busy with Google.
It seems like we need to register our blogs to Bing Webmaster Tools and how to do SEO for Bing and SEO for Yahoo! will change too. I’ll try to share the ways of SEO Yahoo! Bing and a new one if there is because I recently learned about SEO Yahoo! and luckily have not made any posts about it.
After I check in the Bing Webmaster Tools, we must re-register every site we have listed in Yahoo! Site Explorer and verify back to Bing Webmaster Tools can crawl and index. Need to wait some time to learn SEO parameters that exist in the Bing Webmaster Tools, such as web pages indexed, backlinks, internal links and there is even deep linking.
Bing Webmaster Tools does more to give better information from Yahoo! Site Explorer, and is similar to Google Webmaster Tools. So I have a comparison for information on the parameters of my blog SEO than Google Webmaster Tools.
The next question that is my head is whether the merger of Yahoo! Site Explorer with Bing Webmaster Tools is the beginning of an alliance between Yahoo! and Bing / Microsoft? We’ll see progress. If that happens, then the search engine will be slightly changed much, including SEO as well.
